I’m an immersive media artist, 3D designer and educator based in Syracuse, New York. My work explores how virtual environments can hold cultural memory, and how presence and embodiment shape what people feel and remember inside them.
I trained in classical drawing and painting at the Naqsh School of Arts in the Walled City of Lahore, then spent more than five years building characters and worlds for games and real-time media, including leading an art team on a metaverse platform. My MFA in Computer Art at Syracuse University brought these paths together. Today I create VR and AR work rooted in South Asian heritage, teach 3D and immersive media, and work as a 3D artist at Five Peaks Animation.
My work has been exhibited at Microscope Gallery in New York and the Warehouse Gallery in Syracuse, and I’m a two-time recipient of the CNY Arts First Prize.
